A variable pricing model applied to ski lifts. Could be interesting. As long as this does result in lower fees for the consumer (relative to traditional prices) then it could work. I like how this is attempting to leverage the optimal pricing model for the ski resorts. The main difference between the ski resorts and the airlines is that the airlines have a huge variable cost with each flight. Ski resorts, on the other hand, have largely a big fixed cost in the operations of the hill.
